Your Chance to raise vital funds for Paris and MND
3 day cycle from the Angel Pub in Thames Ditton to the Eiffel Tower raising funds for Paris lever and Motor Neurone Disease. The event is fully supported providing medical and mechanical support as well as hydration and nutrition along the route.

Start - Angel Pub, approx 10.00am. Arrive at the pub at 9.00am

Arrive at US Portsmouth RFC to shower and eat before boarding the ferry to Caen at approx 9.30pm. We will cycle from USP rfc to the ferry

You will need to take your small bag/rucksack onto the ferry with your cycling kit for the following morning.
Day 2
Disembark ferry at 6.45am
After disembarking we will regroup after 4 miles and have breakfast before we Cycle to Evreaux - Its 85 miles and will include 2 water stops and a lunch stop.

Day 4
Make your own way to the Eurostar from Gare du Nord to catch the 10.30am train to St Pancras. Train to Thames Ditton where the bikes will be at the Angel Pub for collection

What you need
1. A road bike which has been recently serviced and approved by a mechanic to cover over 200 miles.
2. A level of fitness on your bicycle to cover 222 miles in three days. We will be cycling in two groups and cycling at a leisurely pace.
3. A Garmin (we need the majority of cyclists to have one as the road will not be marked). The above routes will be finalised closer to the start date and can then be uploaded to your Garmin.
4. Waterproof and suitable Bib-shorts and cycling top for the three days (no washing will be done during the event), plenty of cream for the nether regions.
5. Two water bottles (one supplied by Njinga cycle - Togo) two inner tubes, a helmet and suitable cycling shoes.
6. Two kit bags. A small day bag(these will be available at water at the water and lunch stops), and an overnight bag to carry your change of clothes.
7. Insurance. You need medical and Liability insurance (up to £2m)
